    ..from the recollections of the 7th Cavalry soldier A.F. Mulford (1854-1901), who enlisted after the Little Big Horn battle, comes this description of cavalry drills imposed on new soldiers upon those recruits' arrival at the marching camp of the Company M, 7th US Regular Cavalry.
