Adolf van der Venne - horses and genre painting

 Salvete Omnes, 

Adolf van der Venne (1828-1911) was an Austrian maestro of brush and paint. specializing in genre paintings. especially horses and animals and their keepers, but also in  historic paintings. He studied at the Akademie der bildenden Künste in Vienna, and spent several years in the historic region of Central Europe known as Banat. His art is collectible and appears at galleries and auctions.

Alfred Steinacker - born in Hungary in 1838, died in Vienna in 1914 - was a master of the genre painting during the long Austro-Hungarian 'century.'
