Discovery in Russia

a definitely very interesting and perhaps more than groundbreaking discovery in Russia's Kuban region at the foothills of the Caucassus Mountains -  early Bronze Age (4,000 years ago, perhaps assiociated with the Maykop Culture) horses burried with their tack,  The horses, 20 discovered thus far, were laid there at the deapth of mere 1 metre for all these 4 millenia. They have not found any remains of the riders, unfortunately.

You can easily translate this with google translate or bing translator etc.

another interesting arricle - ancient European Wild Horse appearance and genetics findings

the attached photo of the horse skeleton and bronze tack comes from the article and it is just for information purposes, taken by Natalia Fedorenko.
