well, nowadays there is a short page about this painter on Wikipedia and even a gallery - therefore I will coral some paintings from that gallery:

You are mixing two artist: Władysław Szerner (1836 - 1915) and his son, Wladyslaw Karol Szerner (1870 - 1936). Some of the presented pictures are by Szerner (father) and some by Szerner (son). It is quite easy to distinguish the difference based on quality of art.
yes, I am not mixing the two - I had separated them and their work, but included them into one posting in this entry - I think it is clear?
