The Horse: Man's Most Useful Companion - by Razib Khan

I will start this new year of  my bloggin' with the link to the podcast by Razib Khan on the horse's prehistory, spread and characteristics prior to the domestication and some general aspects of great value for domestication by us, humans.

The podcast via Ytube- The Horse: Man's Most Useful Companion.
It is a monologue, fast paced and dense with information and concepts. Rather galloping speed but deep in scope and particular with examples.  Nota bene, 

 Razib talks about the Yukon horse too in the context of massive extinction of the horse in the prehistoric Americas. 

Also the podcaster & researcher about horse anatomy, the long muzzle and large eye etc. 

A very interesting presentation.

Farewell Old Year 2024

and the last hours  of the old 2024 - Adios  Old Year.

and I will share some drawings of mine with you - I have been posting much of my art. 

These drawings I draw and painted on paper, with pen, ballpen, watercolor and gouache, mixing techniques.  

.. I like to think we once had shamans who had been eating Amanita Muscaria (muchomor czerwony in Polish) and then dreaming about the world within and without.

the very end of the year, it has been not a bad year AD2024 ... but for the wars and mayhem all over the world. 

I have not been posting my own drawings & sketches lately. 

So in the spirit of the New Year's Eve,  San Silvestre, Sylwester or la Noche Vieja coming tomorrow night, I am pleased to share  some of my Old Poland horsemen theme drawings & sketches in ballpen on paper, with some gouache and/or watercolor or gesso (some little resizing etc in GIMP and Krita)
