 fine images of 'winged' hussars from the former Kingdom of Hungary (actually conquered and  divided mid-1540s  between the Ottoman Turks and their vassals and the Hapsburg Empire).

    First image comes from S. Dilbaum 'Eikonografia' circa 1600 (thank you, Samuel for that info).

    Bardzo interesujące obrazy Dario. Zwłaszcza ostatni, kolorowy. Znów koń rotmistrza wygląda na podmalowanego...;-)
