Gustave Coubert - horses and dogs

Spring is in full swing - one more reason to enjoy your life if you live in the Northern Hemisphere.
Today I would like to share a corralled number of works by the mid-XIX century French  artist  Gustave Coubert, famous for his women nudes, landscapes, portraits, and support for the French Communist rebellion know as the Paris Commune of 1870.
but we will just look at some of his equestrian art with canine elements mostly in hunting context-
