Marcello Fogolino's Renaissance horses
Salvete Omnes,
Several days ago I posted some medieval frescoes from Bouncosinglio Trento castle, today I would like to add some detailed images of horses from the frescoes painted by Marcello Fogolino there during the early 1530s.
Messer Fogolino, wanted for murder of a barber in Friuli a Venetian territory, fled to Trento and there he started working for the cardinal Bernardo Clesio .
The frescoes depict the ancient Roman history, and its most famous person i.e., Julius Caesar.
