Turkish or Tatar men and their horse from a Punjab painter

 Salvete Omnes,

today there is a short entry about a rare painting from the XIX century
Cleveland Museum of Art digitized a watercolor and ink painting showing some Turks? or Tatars? in Punjab, colonial India.
The men are on foot and there is a horse, and we see its sex for it is a stallion - this stallion could be a Western or Central Asian one, or could be a Punjabi one too, the four socks and a blaze on his head seemed and still seems to be well liked in Indian and Pakistan - like the Marwari .

no saddle nor stirrup are shown -the saddle area is well covered. But there are details of the bridle...

Enjoy

 Valete
